Elephant Sanctuary

An artist’s haven has developed in the Hartbeespoort area, with so many galleries you will be kept busy for more than a day. Local markets also offer a wide variety of African arts and crafts.
Fishing
Catch that big one – or at least have the opportunity to boast about it. Early morning bass fishing or laid back Barbell and Carp fishing takes place right off the La Dolce Vita waterfront. There is also trout fishing in the surrounding areas.
Kosmos Nature Trail
Let us pack you a picnic bag and enjoy a stroll along the foreshore, returning along one of the many quaint lanes that make Kosmos such a special village. On your way be sure to stop by the Chris Taljard gallery for a look at some of SA’s Top art work and a cherry.
